WHAT A GIRL WANTS
I have stopped being amazed at the creativity that comes out of Canada's most central hinterland city of Winnipeg. Well, yet another Winnipegger is making a global impression, but this time in the cell phone market.

Lorane Poersch, C.E.O., runs CrazyFunBabe (turn down your speakers if you click on the link--I nearly soiled myself) which tartets the burgeoning 16-24 year old female cell phone market. Her company develops a host of mobile applications, ringtones, and wallpapers that make young women squeal with delight.

Come to think of it, CrazyFunBabe is probably making cell phone executives squeal with the highly targeted, fun, and money making goodies.

CrazyFunBabe products are currently being sold through a number of providers:

Canada - Telus Mobility, Rogers Wireless
UK - Virgin Mobile, Opera Telecom
USA - Verizon, AT&T, U.S. Cellular, Cellular One, ALLTEL

Not a bad line-up of companies, don't you think? Good luck to the folks at CrazyFunBabe.
